A trainer visits your site for training of up to three people. Training time is approx 4-5 hours. If you have any follow up questions you can always call our technical support helpdesk.
Remote training courses are also run instead of an onsite session where appropriate.
Standard Training Itinerary
The Connect Introductory Training is split into two parts. The paperwork required for training:
- 1 x Supplier Invoice
- 2 x Products from this invoice
- Your suggested categories to breakdown your stock.
The First Session
The first session concentrates on the Connect Back Office and takes between 2 -3 hours to complete. The areas listed below are management functions. Access to the Connect Back Office can be password protected to secure trade information, and to protect against accidental changes to your stock data.

- Staff Creation
- Customer Creation
- Supplier Creation
- Stock Tree Creation
- Article Creation
- Discount Schemes
- Configuration Settings

The Second Session
The second session concentrates on the Connect Till and can take between 2-3 hours to complete. The areas listed below are all sales functions required to serve your customers.
The areas covered include (please consult your EPoS Project Manager for the complete list):
- Adding products to a sales transaction
- Adding Customers to sales transactions
- Selling Gift Vouchers and redeeming them
- Returns and Refunds
- Discounts for lines and whole sales transactions
- Cash Declaration (Floats and Cashing Up)
