A gift list facility on your website will allow customers to choose what they would like so their friends and family can purchase items for them.
Whenever a product is purchased from the gift list it is removed so there is no chance of getting duplicate items.
Creating a Gift List
Register on the website as a customer.
Once logged in click on ‘My Gift Lists’.
Choose a name for the list and a code that can be given out to friends and family.
Click ‘Save List’.
A confirmation message will appear.
To add products – browse the product menu, make a choice and click ’Add to Gift List’.
Once the product has been added to the gift list a summary is displayed. Here you can change the quantity if you wish or remove the product from the gift list.
You can login to review and make changes to your list at any time as well as check to see what has been purchased and is remaining.

Purchasing for a Gift List
Visit the website address that your friend or family gives you and enter in the gift list code to the field provided.
Click ‘Go’.
The recipient’s gift list will be displayed. Click on the product you wish to purchase for them.
The product page will be displayed. Click ‘Add to basket’ to purchase the item.
Complete the checkout process.
Once this is done the status in the recipient’s gift list is updated.

Processing a Transaction from a Gift List
Transactions arrive at your till as a web sale.
When you open the transaction, the iNotes will be lit within the black totals area, indicating a note is attached to the transaction.
Click on the iNotes image and you will see a note in the following format:
(product) purchased from gift list (gift list name) for (customer code/customer name)
e.g. AA0100 purchased from gift list C1002_johns-gift-list for CA03D/Joe Bloggs
