This help-sheet guides you through processing damaged goods where a return does not require the item(s) to be put back into stock.
At the Till, scan the customer’s receipt.
Every Connect receipt has a unique barcode. If for some reason the barcode does not scan, enter the R0000XXX
number that appears under the barcode.
The details of the products purchased will appear in the Transaction Window.
In the transaction window click on the product that you wish to return. This line will now be highlighted.
Click on the button labelled ‘Rtn’ (Return).
The items highlighted will appear in the Transaction Window prefixed by the word ‘Return:’
Double-click the highlighted transaction line. The ’Goods Out processing’ window will open.
Select ‘Goods Out’
Under ‘Wastage’ enter In the quantity of the damaged goods being returned.
Hit ‘Enter’
Hit the ‘Close’ button to return to the transaction.
Select the payment method.
