This help sheet will guide you through how to import compound products
PLEASE NOTE: If you are using options for your contained products you will need to make sure that they have unique Article Code Suffix’s, to do this go to the Back Office, click Tools and then Options, open the Option set you are using and add an Article Code Suffix to each option, this will ensure all article codes are unique
Step 1: Create the master product in your Active Stock Tree, also add the products that this product will contain to the Active Stock Tree
Step 2: Highlight your Master Product or the folder that contains the Master Product (you can also highlight the products that are contained within the master article). Then run the Pricing – Company Price Export Sheet as a Spreadsheet
Step 3: Create a column called list_clsfn:compound_product
Step 4: Find your Master Product and add the Article Codes and quantities of the products that you want to be contained within that product in the following format
This will add 1 of ZA0048, 1 of ZA0051BLU and 2 of ZA0050 to the Master Product
Step 5: Remove all unnecessary columns and rows, leaving just the !us:vendor_article_id and the list_clsfn:compound_product columns
Step 6: Save the file as a Text (Tab Delimited) file
Step 7: Import the file by going to the Back Office, clicking File then Import, follow the steps and select the import file. NOTE: Please make sure you test this process in the Training Till before importing into the Live system
